Broken, thought, gone, ...

Roto, pendado, ido, ...

The past participle in Enlish is usually the same as the past tense. I thought, I had thought. But sometimes it is different. I broke, I had broken. Well, in Spanish it is a different conjugation as a rule.

Take the -ar, -er, and -ir ending off of the infinitive and replace it with -ado (-ar verbs) or -ido (-er and -ir verbs).

Regular conjugation examples

Pensar >> pendado Comer >> comido Venir >> venido

Iregular conjugation examples

Romper >> roto Morir >> muerto
