I did do your exercise,but I didn't paste it... and... it's only now that I've just realised I missed the whole thing! Sorry! I won't paste it, but I'll add my little remarks.
Sentence b: I wrote:
Je pense que ce serait la même chose si on disait: we've run out of milk. Tu es d'accord?
Hum... et j'ai ajouté: Sorry about that! What about some mild coffee and a biscuit?

et c: s'il n'éteint toujours pas sa cigarette, je lui dirais fermement et poliment: Sir, do you mind putting out your cigarette, please?
pour ces "phrasal verbs"
